چکیده
Abstract In the framework of French–Egyptian Imhotep Project, two spring gravimeters have been installed in area Lake Nasser (Egypt) with aim to establish a first reliable gravity tide model for region. The tidal stations are located Aswan, on northern edge lake and Abu Simbel south, respectively. This study was mainly aimed obtain crustal response forces and, consequently, increase accuracy geodetic observations, be used future geophysical studies this region as well investigate effect level variations deformation related changes. Nearly 3 years records (from May 2018 April 2021) were collected. Since no scale factor available gravimeters, step achieve calibration each collected signals. After removing instrumental drift, spikes, steps tares, both calibrated by fitting output signal against synthetic reference based body due Wahr-Dehant Earth FES2014 ocean loading model. signals analyzed ET34-X-V80 software analyses. enabled us retrieve set frequency-dependent factors (amplitude phase) main waves, residuals. It turns out that amplitude estimates waves is 0.2 ÷ 1% LCR_ET16 Aswan 1 10% LCR_D-218 Simbel. To improve at Simbel, stopped relocated there. 90 days recordings from ET16 provide promising results, an order 0.1% even better than results obtained Aswan. residual after subtraction range ± 50 µGal. Further analyses contribution however needed before able interpret terms surface (i.e. changes water Nasser) or underground hydrology.

A New Reliable Controller Placement Model for Software-Defined WANs
Software-Defined Network (SDNs) is a decoupled architecture that enables administrators to build a customizable and manageable network. Although the decoupled control plane provides flexible management and facilitates the task of operating the network, it is the vulnerable point of failure in SDN. To achieve a reliable control plane, multiple controller are often needed so that each switch must...
متن کاملHausdorff-Besicovitch Dimension of Lake Nasser Coastline from Satellite Imagery
The paper is proposing a method for evaluating the Hausdorff-Besicovitch dimension of natural coastlines from satellite images. A fractal dimension is a statistical index which is describing the complexity of a given pattern embedded in given spatial dimensions. In particular, this index is providing a measure of the capacity the considered fractal pattern has to fill the space in which it is e...

Considering characteristics of high river density, special underlying surface in plain river network region, and municipal drainage system function, river network drainage unit model is proposed, which is defined as a region surrounded by main river or embankment. Flood storage variety and control projects regulation of small rivers in each unit is simulated. With drainage catchment as an objec...
متن کاملinvestigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
Polygon model from first-order gravity
The gauge fixed polygon model of 2 + 1 gravity with zero cosmological constant and arbitrary number of spinless point particles is reconstructed from the firstorder formalism of the theory in terms of the triad and the spin connection. The induced symplectic structure is calculated and shown to agree with the canonical one in terms of the variables. PACS number: 04.20.Fy
